Manchester United should have pursued Lewis Hall harder in the window.
Hall chose Newcastle on a five-year deal instead. United sit 11th on 4 points after three games and have injuries in midfield and attack (Baleba, Diallo, Ugarte unavailable).

Hall is a left winger; United's crisis is two defensive midfielders out with Baleba and Ugarte both sidelined, forcing Mainoo and Tielemans into a stretched pairing that has already leaked five goals in three games.
