Manchester City should move for Cody Gakpo after Liverpool rejected the offer.
City's left-winger spot is exposed with Jérémy Doku sidelined by calf injury and Jack Grealish ageing. Gakpo is an elite option available at £80m after Liverpool's rejection.

At £80m with a five-year contract, Gakpo's amortised cost of £16m annually is acceptable for a 25-year-old winger with clear resale value; City can move him on at 29 if needed without taking a haircut.
