Carrick should drop Shea Lacey for a more experienced forward option.
Lacey started the 2–3 EFL Cup loss to Brighton on Wednesday. United have Benjamin Sesko, Joshua Zirkzee, and Matheus Cunha on the squad, all with stronger pedigrees in the final third.

Lacey is untested at this level; Sesko, Zirkzee, and Cunha offer proven goal-threat and experience that could stabilise a leaky defence by controlling matches better.
