Arsenal's midfield depth is sufficient without a Deadline Day signing.
Arsenal missed out on a key target to a Premier League rival on Deadline Day. With Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard, Mikel Merino, Martín Zubimendi, Eberechi Eze, Ethan Nwaneri, and Fábio Vieira in the squad, the midfield is well-stocked despite Bruno Guimarães' current hamstring injury.

Ødegaard and Merino have barely played together, Eze and Vieira are unproven rotation options, and losing a midfield target means Arsenal cannot replace what they lost—depth without proven chemistry is a gamble they cannot afford.
